David Lester, Partner, Gallini and Lester Real Estate Services, was recognized last month at the CoreNet Global San Antonio Summit for completing the program of study for CoreNet Global's Senior Leader of Corporate Real Estate (SLCR) - a certificate program of specialized competence in the corporate real estate profession.

CoreNet Global is the world's largest association devoted to the professional education of corporate real estate executives and executives who manage the corporate workplace and corporate infrastructure services.

Lester was one of 19 graduates in the SLCR Class of 2004.

"The SLCR program is focused on the development of essential leadership skills for those positioning themselves for a greater role in their organization," said Becky Hallden, CoreNet Global's Curriculum and Faculty Development Director. "It is designed to broaden business perspective, enhance the strategic approach to decision making, hone financial analysis skills, and expand leadership abilities. It is also integrated with new learnings from our Corporate Real Estate 2010 research initiative on managing the networked enterprise."

The SLCR program was established in 2002 by CoreNet Global. To earn the SLCR certificate, professionals must complete 96 hours of coursework. CoreNet Global members manage $1.2 trillion (US) in worldwide corporate assets totaling 700-billion square feet of owned and leased office, industrial and other space. With 7,500 members representing large corporations around the world, CoreNet Global (www.corenetglobal.org) operates in five global regions: Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America and North America, including Canada.
